The Christmas Fiasco missions can be played in Episodes 1, 2, or 4. They are similar to Max Attack quests, allotting only 30 minutes to annihilate every monster. Kills in the Fiasco quests in all difficulties count towards the kill counter.
Christmas Presents will also appear in all modes of play. Once again, the possible gifts are unlocked through a tiered structure that will grow as the number of Fiasco kills increases. So team up and destroy those monsters!

The Christmas Fiasco missions can be played in Episodes 1, 2, or 4. They are similar to Max Attack quests, allotting only 30 minutes to annihilate every monster. Warning Warning: This year, to make things even tougher, some monsters in the Fiasco (Ultimate Mode) are incredibly fast moving, immune to many status effects, and have higher technique resistances. Also, enemies in Solo Mode have equal stats as in Multi Mode. Exterminating monsters in these quests will broaden the list of achievable items obtained through presents. It is important to note that only defeats made in Ultimate mode will be tallied.
Drop rates are increased by 3x for all difficulties, quests, and areas. Also, presents have a 2x drop rate per the 40 million kill counter unlock.
Christmas Presents will also appear in all modes of play. Once again, the possible gifts are unlocked through a tiered structure that will grow as the number of Fiasco kills increases. So team up and destroy those monsters!

2008 Event

The 2008 Christmas Event involved a variety of perks. In addition to monsters dropping their normal rares at a multiplied frequency, monsters and boxes also had a chance to drop Christmas Presents. When opened, the presents could award just a normal item, and sometimes a rare from a specific list. When a present with one of the rare items was picked up, a message would display proclaiming a gift from Santa has been received. The possible loot grew in a tiered structure as players racked up kills in the Fiasco quests. The list of available items is below:

2007 Event

The 2007 Christmas Event began December 1, 2007 and ended December 25, 2007. It featured "presents" that would drop randomly from any enemy or box, containing either a normal item or a special rare item from a list. As this was the first Schtserv Christmas event, some quirks and bugs existed that did not appear in later versions of the event. The list of available items is below (note that presents had a chance of appearing on higher difficulties than listed):
